While taking photo’s for the Oxfam Trailwalker on the Veluwe I ran into the local shepherd who was herding the sheep in the distance with his two dogs. It was amazing to see them all at work. The dogs are so well trained they each have their own whistle sound which the obey and never loss the sheep out of their sight.

Had a nice chat with the Shepherd (forgot to ask his name, but on Internet found out that his name is Henk) who was very polite in answering my questions, probably the same ones he gets from everybody who he runs into. He was very patient with me setting up my flash and even called the dogs over when I asked if we could get them in the shot.
